Job Summary Work Schedule: Evenings/Nights The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner uses tools, theories, skills and knowledge of nursing professional development (NPD) to improve the practice of staff. The NPD Practitioner functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the NPD specialty. #PHX Qualifications Education Requirements 4 year/Bachelor's Degree Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. Experience Minimum 2 years acute care experience required; critical care experience preferred Certification and Licensure PA Registered Nurse License ACLS Certification and instructor if responsible for specialty course program PALS Certification and Instructor if Responsible for Specialty Course Program BLS Certification Located in Phoenixville, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs.
