Nurse Extern I Progressive Care Unit PRN Days Position Summary:
The Nurse Extern I role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for sophomore/junior professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
THE NURSE EXTERN I PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT PRN Days CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
EDUCATION:
Must have completed the first semester of clinical experience in a Nursing Associates or Bachelor’s Degree program.
A letter from the school that states this or a current college transcript.
