Title: Nurse I/II Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Nursing - 5 East Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 37.5 FTE: 0.9375 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Plans, provides and supervises nursing interventions for individuals with cancer and cancer related health care problems; diagnoses and treats human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as patient care, health teaching, and health counseling; provides interventions supportive to or restorative of life and well-being and executes medical regimens prescribed by a physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider authorized by the State Education Commissioner’s regulations; supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Hospital Clinical Assistants and clinical secretaries in the provision of nursing interventions to patients; enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops. The starting hourly rate for the Nurse I position is $43.84 which includes a geographical differential. The starting hourly rate for the Nurse II position is $47.58 which includes a geographical differential. Responsibilities

Plans, provides, and supervises nursing interventions for individuals with cancer. Executes medical regimens prescribed by authorized health care providers and supervises other nursing staff.
