The RN Intern will be working in our Med/Surg and Emergency Departments in a community-based critical access hospital. 🌟 Program Overview Ready to step out of the classroom and into real-world nursing? As a Nurse Intern, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced nurses and healthcare professionals across a variety of settings, from med/surg units to specialty departments and outpatient clinics. You’ll gain hands-on experience in clinical judgment, interdisciplinary communication, and critical thinking — all while gaining a competitive edge for your final semester(s) and future career. Bonus: Exceptional interns may be considered for continued employment, and potential RN offers after graduation. ✅ Eligibility Requirements To be considered for the Summer 2026 Nurse Internship, applicants must: Be on track to graduate from a baccalaureate or associate nursing program by December 2026 or May 2027 Hold at least one of the following active certifications/licenses: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Have a current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must include hands-on training) Be available to work 30–36 hours per week, across all shifts (Days, PMs, Nights), including weekends and holidays 📝 Application Checklist To apply, please complete the following steps: 1) Submit the online application and upload your CPR and CNA/LPN/EMT certifications 2) Attach a resume that includes: Your high school graduation date Your anticipated nursing program graduation date 3) Include a cover letter that helps us get to know you beyond your resume.
