Company Description Lan Pya Kyel Association (“LPK”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is local organization in Myanmar. LPK is currently providing full comprehensive package of HIV prevention and treatment to vulnerable populations particularly, sex workers and men who have sex with men and Transgender Women. Organization has been implementing HIV and related programs throughout the country since 1st March 2021. Lan Pya Kyel is now inviting applications to fill the following position: Job Description A. TB Screening and Case Finding Lead and coordinate TB screening activities at health facilities, community level, and household level. Support the team in ensuring systematic screening of individuals with TB symptoms in accordance with national TB guidelines. Guide and assist staff in identifying presumptive TB cases and facilitating appropriate diagnostic testing (e.g., chest X-ray, sputum collection, GeneXpert, where available). Support TB case finding activities in project target areas. B. TB Diagnosis and Linkage to Treatment Coordinate with health facilities and laboratories for timely TB diagnosis. Ensure confirmed TB patients are promptly linked to appropriate TB treatment services. Follow up with diagnosed TB patients to ensure treatment initiation and adherence. C. Contact Investigation Lead contact investigation as per national contact investigation guidelines. Perform conducting household contact investigation for index TB patients within the first two weeks of anti-TB treatment. Visit the patient’s house, assess all household contacts, screen eligible contacts for TB symptoms and record the findings in the Contact Investigation Register. Provide TB health education and counselling to household members about TB symptoms, transmission, and prevention. Refer all household contacts to the nearest township health facility for evaluation of active TB or eligibility for TPT. D. TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) Assess eligibility of contacts and other target groups for TB preventive treatment according to national guidelines. Facilitate initiation, linkage and follow-up of TPT at facility, field, and home visit levels. Monitor adherence and completion of TPT E. Field Activities and Home Visits He/She will oversight TB activities in the field such as contact investigation, linkage to diagnostic facilities, linkage to treatment and treatment adherence with completion, etc. Conduct HE for personal prevention measures to household contacts. F. Health Education (HE) Provide technical support on health education sessions on TB prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment adherence, and stigma reduction at community and facility levels. Support community awareness activities to promote early TB detection and treatment. G. Recording and Reporting Ensure accurate and timely recording of all TB related data Maintain project registers, forms, and databases according to project requirements. Prepare and submit regular activity and monthly progress reports to the supervisor. H. Team Coordination Provide guidance and technical support to team members at KPSC and during field activities. Coordinate with the respective staff of team for proper documentation with quality. Proper referral of contact HTS coordinate with program teams. Work with Counsellor to provide psychosocial support for TB clients. Responsible for NCD activities of LPK such as monitoring of blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI at KPSC level, up to recording and reporting. Coordinate with health facilities, local health authorities, and relevant stakeholders. I . ADMINISTRATIVE, FINANCIAL, AND LOGISTICS OVERSIGHT Ensure compliance with LPK finance and administrative guidelines, including HR policies, procurement procedures, stock, and cash management in assigned sites.
