Description The RN Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership, oversight, and mentorship within an adolescent-focused healthcare program serving youth ages 13–17. This role balances hands-on nursing leadership with administrative and supervisory responsibilities while fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for adolescents and staff. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Program Leadership Oversee daily nursing operations for adolescent services, ensuring safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, state regulations, and organizational procedures Participate in direct patient care as needed to support staff and maintain clinical excellence Staff Management & Development Supervise, schedule, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff and support personnel Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development initiatives Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect Adolescent-Focused Care Ensure nursing care is trauma-informed, age-appropriate, and responsive to the unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adolescents Support therapeutic engagement and positive relationships between staff and youth Collaborate with families and guardians while maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality Quality Improvement & Safety Monitor clinical outcomes, incident reports, and quality indicators Implement performance improvement initiatives and best practices Lead responses to emergencies and ensure adherence to safety protocols Communication & Collaboration Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, providers, administration, adolescents, and families Model clear, respectful, and transparent communication Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and organizational planning Requirements Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience working with adolescents or pediatric populations strongly preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to model professionalism while creating a supportive and engaging environment Work Environment & Expectations Works in a dynamic, adolescent-centered setting that values structure, compassion, and positivity May require flexibility in scheduling to meet program needs Physically and emotionally capable of managing a fast-paced clinical environment Why Join Our Team This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on adolescents’ lives while leading a dedicated nursing team.
