This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care by facilitating seamless communication and coordination among all parties involved in the rehabilitation process. Key Responsibilities Conduct prescreening of all patients prior to admission to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for rehabilitation services. Serve as a nurse liaison for Methodist Rehabilitation Center physicians, all referral sources, and the community, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Educate physicians, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, and insurance companies on all rehabilitation services offered by Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with all stakeholders to promote understanding and cooperation. Utilize excellent computer skills to manage patient information and communication efficiently. Drive to various locations as needed, requiring a valid Mississippi driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance. Qualifications Graduate of an approved and accredited school of nursing. Licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. Experience in prescreening patients prior to admission. Experience serving as a liaison between physicians, referral sources, and the community. Experience in educating healthcare professionals and insurance companies about rehabilitation services.
