Description The Nurse at Pine Haven Christian Home provides direct nursing care to and monitors the overall well-being of residents in an assisted living facility, maintaining scheduled hours with flexible location assignments in all clinical households and campuses, based on need. The nurse will administer medication and treatments to residents. This position is for PM (2:00pm-10:30pm) and NOC (10:00pm-6:30am) This position does require an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation. Requirements Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Practical Nurse Current CPR Registration One-year experience in long-term care or rehab setting is preferred Good problem solver with abilities to make independent judgments utilizing initiative, discretion and the nursing process as needed. Clinical competence to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents Ability to prioritize duties and make critical, independent decisions Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival Support positive working relationships with fellow team members Interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required Must comply with Pine Haven’s policies Understands, supports, and is committed to Pine Haven’s Mission, Vision and Values Why Join Us?
