The Nurse Manager – Lighthouse Residential Treatment (LRT) is responsible for all nursing services under the direction of the Medical Director of LRT. This position also works closely with the clinical site leader, ensuring the provision of safe and high-quality client care while also maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the quality delivery of dependent and independent nursing services. Create and maintain the nursing schedule, arranging for coverage for nurse absences. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, addressing staffing needs and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Manage performance to ensure the nurses meet the departmental objectives of quality, efficiency, and productivity in providing evidence-based nursing care in the substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment environment. Perform direct nursing care with clients as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Manage the site medical supply inventory, monitoring and controlling expenses while optimizing resources. Performs other duties as assigned by the medical director of LRT. Provide nursing coverage during staffing shortages. Required Experience/Certifications: Valid and current state RN license. Minimum 5 years of nursing experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment. Minimum 1 year of prior experience in managing a team in a professional career. Knowledge of federal, state, and other applicable standards for clinical practice in assigned area(s) Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance. Must pass BCI check, all corporate compliance checks, and employment drug screen. Desired Experience/Certifications: CARN certification preferred.
