We believe our people make the difference.     About the role     We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who can demonstrate leadership, and management qualities , to join us as a Nurse Manager at Maroondah Hospital.      This is a full time role. You will be surrounded by supportive and established teams of nurses, medical and clerical staff.      As NM, you are responsible for providing active and visible leadership. You will support safe, evidenced based care, a continued efficient service delivery and innovative practice where opportunity exists.      This position works closely with the Director of Nursing and Deputy Director of ICU operations to achieve Eastern Healths strategic and improvement plans, as well as role modeling core values to maintain a high level of staff and patient experience.       About you    To be successful in this role you will possess:   Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA Post Graduate qualifications in Critical Care Intensive Care Experience, including previous expereince as a manager Demonstrated leadership experience Demonstrated committment to high quality care Ability to inspire a team to provide high quality care Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills   Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
