JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Cardiovascular Services at Mon Health will coordinate total patient-centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve . The Manager of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the following:

Strategic Growth : As the Manager of Cardiovascular Services at Mon Health , you will ensure daily operations supporting the development of the clinical affairs infrastructure and programs for patient safety and quality care of Cardiovascular Services , including but not limited to: Pre/Post Cath Recovery, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, EP Lab, Radiology Nursing, Echo lab, and Stress Lab.
Stewardship: The Manager assumes fiscal responsibility through preparation of unit budgets, serves as liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports research, participates in strategic planning, both long and short term, and assures patient advocacy. Manages the effective utilization of human resources and supplies within the unit, including the development of appropriate staffing and management of productivity. Develops staffing plans in response to patient volume and activity. Recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent staff to provide care. Recommends space and other resources for needed services. Participates in selecting outside sources for needed services.
Quality and Safety : The Manager of Cardiovascular Services will e nsure compliance with state and federal laws, accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. Maintains staff compliance with medical center policies, procedures and protocols.
People and Culture: In collaboration with the cardiology and vascular providers, Sr. Nursing director, unit director, lead technologists, and clinical nurse coordinators, the manager will d evelop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services . Collaborates with staff directors and clinical/support leaders in cross-functional process improvement, collaborative teamwork, open communication and problem solving to ensure effective coordination and integration of services within and between departments and units.
Physician-Led Care Team: Within the Heart and Vascular Service line, the managers assists the leaders to coordinate operational and strategic meetings to review and discuss processes throughout the service line as led by the physicians of Heart and Vascular. The manager would bring the quality metrics and operational metrics to these meetings to strategize growth. The manager would utilize the quality metrics set forth by the ACC and DNV to continue to provide state of the art care with the new and/or improved technologies by the physicians. By supporting the physicians, the healthcare system will continue to be leaders in the state of West Virginia.
