This is a leadership opportunity within a high-acuity ICU setting supporting complex neuro and trauma patients. POSITION OVERVIEW The Nurse Manager (Clinical Nurse Coordinator) is responsible for overseeing unit operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading nursing staff within the Neuro Trauma ICU. This role focuses on coordination, staff support, patient flow, and maintaining clinical excellence during assigned shifts. SCHEDULE • Night shift 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $33.00 to $46.00 based on experience • $10,000 sign-on bonus • Night differential $4.50/hr • Weekend differential $1.50/hr KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate and supervise nursing operations during assigned shifts • Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care • Collaborate with leadership and physicians to optimize patient outcomes • Manage patient placement and staffing assignments • Lead interdisciplinary rounds and patient care conferences • Monitor clinical performance and ensure adherence to policies • Support staff education and professional development • Respond to changes in patient condition and ensure timely interventions WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • Leadership role within a Neuro Trauma ICU • High-acuity patient population with advanced care exposure • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration • Career advancement within a large hospital system • Supportive leadership structure and resources BENEFITS • Comprehensive medical coverage including behavioral health and telemedicine • Dental and vision insurance • Life and disability coverage • 401k with 100 percent match on 3 to 9 percent based on years of service • Employee stock purchase program • Tuition and student loan assistance • Paid time off and paid family leave • Relocation assistance available Requirements • Active Florida RN license or compact license required • 1+ year of recent ICU leadership experience required (within last year) • Experience in ICU settings such as MICU, SICU, CVICU required • 3+ years ICU RN experience required • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (ASN or Diploma accepted) • BLS required prior to start • ACLS required within 6 months • PALS required within 6 months • NRP required within 30 days • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills Not ready to formally apply?
