The Nurse Manager is accountable for the overall clinical and operational leadership of the Labor & Delivery unit. This includes:

• Ensuring safe, high-quality patient care 24/7.
• Establishing and enforcing standards of patient care and nursing practice.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
• Overseeing staff recruitment, retention, scheduling, and development.
• Advocating for patients and families, with sensitivity to cultural practices and ethical considerations.
• Partnering with the Senior Manager, Clinical Supervisor, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

This position reports directly to the Senior Labor & Delivery Manager.
