POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager – Labor and Delivery to oversee the operations of our Labor & Delivery unit in Florence, AL. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing departmental budgets, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations. This leadership role requires excellent clinical expertise, strong communication, and proven management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama (or compact state eligibility).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN required); Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
