The Nurse/Midwife Educator Emergency - Project Officer plays a key role in strengthening emergency nursing and midwifery capability across the health service by providing education, training, and professional support to clinicians. Drawing on at least three years of post-registration clinical experience, the role contributes to the development of learning experiences, educational resources, and local teaching initiatives that enhance clinical knowledge, confidence, and practice. The position also supports regional emergency service programs and nurses and midwives working in regional emergency departments, helping to build a skilled and responsive workforce. In addition to education delivery, the role provides leadership in the coordination of projects, programs, and research aimed at improving educational outcomes and service delivery. The Nurse/Midwife Educator Emergency (Project Officer) is accountable for promoting safe, evidence-based practice, addressing gaps between policy and practice, and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports high-quality patient and client outcomes. Through collaboration, mentorship, and project leadership, the role contributes to continuous improvement and the delivery of effective emergency care across the network. WHO ARE WE?
