Visiting Angels is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of 3 nursing years experience to join our Nurse Monitor program. Nurses work Part-time and set their own schedule. We urgently need Nurse Monitors who are able to do client visits in Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Gaithersburg and Rockville. Job Function will include: • Visit assigned clients in the home setting to complete assessment of participants’ welfare, identify what the necessary tasks are to support the client, and determine what delegated tasks are appropriate and in compliance with applicable laws and State of Board Nursing regulations. • Develop actions and outcomes for assistance with personal hygiene, personal care, toileting, meal preparation, maintaining a clean and an infection-free environment, assistance with daily clothing changes, and assistance with transfer and ambulation. • Provide quality Provider Oversight by ensuring that any delegated nursing tasks to Providers of Care are performed in accordance with applicable regulations. • Communicate with interdisciplinary team any changes in participant’s status, identified need for referrals to additional resources, and any discrepancies in services. • Must be able to work independently with remote support, maintain set deadlines, and complete accurate thorough documentation in a timely manner. Abilities & Requirements: • Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelors preferred but not required) • Current nursing license (in good standing) • Organized • Maintain a positive presence • Develop creative solutions • Work independently • Exercise good judgment consistent with Agency standards Required Skills: • Computer knowledge, including proficiency with MS office suite • Assessment skills, preferably gained from working in community heath including home visitation • Worked with diverse populations and communities • Experience in Quality Assurance or Case Management is required Competitive hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, health care insurance, and 401K benefit, await the successful candidates. Responsibilities
