Responsibilities: Performing physical exams and patient observations Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests Diagnosing health issues Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed Educating patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long term medical needs of the patients Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program APN authorization in Ohio to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners Prescriptive authorization Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and information systems A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of disease processes and prevention Benefits: Medical insurance 401(k) and Roth 401(k) 401(k) employer match Dental insurance Term Life Insurance Vision insurance Wellness benefits Paid time off Short term disability Long Term disability Paid holidays Employee assistance program Travel assistance program
