Job Details Job Location: Dumfries, VA 22026 Position Type: Full-time Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00 Salary Job Shift: Day Job Category: Direct Care Job Summary: The CRNP provides acute and chronic medical care to those combatting substance use disorders and mental health concerns. Responsibilities include: Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess client’s clinical problems and health care needs. Provides history and physical exams for new admissions. Records physical findings, and formulates individual plan and prognosis, based on client’s condition. Discusses case with physician, counselors, and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive client care plan. Submits health care plan and goals of individual clients for periodic review by the medical care team. Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as needed. May refer clients for consultation to outside healthcare resources for treatment. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS Nurse Practitioner licensure (Virginia required) DEA (Virginia required) EXPERIENCE A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a psychiatric care setting or mental health/substance use disorder environment preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience promoting good health and maintenance.
