JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, focusing on both acute and chronic health issues. This position requires a strong background in various medical specialties, including hospital medicine, pain management, and behavioral health. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
• Experience in hospital settings, particularly in areas such as infant care and utilization management, is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is a plus.

Pay: $143,357.00 - $150,592.00 per year

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including hospital medicine and pain management.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret medical imaging results.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in settings such as PICU and behavioral health.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
