The Nurse Practitioner practices by blending an in-depth knowledge of advanced nursing practice with the legal authority and autonomy as outlined in legislation, regulation, CRNS Bylaws, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The Nurse Practitioner will provide care and services at the Urgent Care Centre within their full scope of practice and competencies for clients both independently and collaboratively with a physician(s) and the healthcare team. As health care professionals, they participate in self and peer review to evaluate the outcome of their services at the patient, community, and population level. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * 3 years experience as a RN in critical care, ER, acute care or primary care. * 1 year full time experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.
