We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Paul First Nation, an integral community within our network.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Paul First Nation, you will be a primary healthcare provider responsible for delivering comprehensive, longitudinal care to a diverse patient population. You will play a critical role in promoting health and wellness, managing chronic conditions, and providing preventive care within the community. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a culturally rich environment, making a meaningful impact on the health outcomes of Paul First Nation members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a focus on advanced clinical practice.
  • Certification: Current enrollment with CRNA extended practice roster.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting. Experience in Indigenous or rural healthcare is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic and treatment abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Understanding of Indigenous health issues and the ability to deliver culturally sensitive care.
