Valid registration with College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse Extended Class with no restrictions
Nurse Practitioner certificate in either Primary Health Care or Adult
Minimum one year of recent clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care, community health, or mental health settings.
Demonstrated expertise in trauma-and-violence-informed care, with an understanding of the intersection of trauma, equity, and health.
Knowledge of harm reduction, anti-oppressive practice, and culturally safe care models.
Experience in program development, quality improvement, and clinical research.
Demonstrated expertise in trauma-and-violence-informed care, with an understanding of the intersection of trauma, equity, and health.
Experience working with structurally marginalized populations, including those impacted by homelessness, poverty, racism, and/or gender-based violence.
An active pursuit of knowledge, skills, and expertise in best practice patterns, and the ability to translate them into clinical practice
Proven creative initiatives in care planning, problem-solving, conflict management, and independent handling of priorities and emergencies
Effective interpersonal and group skills
Demonstrated experience with utilization and generation of research
Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated skill and understanding of electronic medical records systems

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
