Job Summary: The OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive healthcare services to women across the lifespan, including reproductive, prenatal, and gynecologic care. The NP works collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in clinical settings. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments, including medical histories and physical exams Provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health Conduct routine screenings (Pap smears, breast exams, STI testing) Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Develop and implement treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations Assist in minor procedures (e.g., IUD insertions/removals, biopsies) Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy, and menopause Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental Insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) Current, active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas Board certification as Women’s Health NP (WHNP) or Family NP (FNP) with OB/GYN experience Current DEA license (if applicable) BLS/ACLS certification (as required)
