What You’ll Do

  • Perform physical examinations, update medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management and scheduling interventional pain procedures, with the opportunity to perform your own procedures as qualified.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families on recommended treatments and procedures.
  • Collaborate with referring and primary care physicians to coordinate patient care and make appropriate referrals.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries via telephone or patient portal.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  • Track patient outcomes to support quality care and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education and Licensure:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
  • Active Washington State Medical Licensure and DEA license.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Compliance with continuing medical education requirements.
  • Experience and Skills:
  • 1–3 years of experience in pain management, primary care, or a related clinical field (preferred; training provided for strong candidates).
  • Strong ability to interpret patient self-reports and behaviors, considering cognitive, physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and clinic staff.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality care.
