Gameday Men’s Health is a concierge-level Men’s Health Clinic focused on hormone optimization, erectile enhancement, weight loss solutions and everything else that really matters to men.
This is a part-time-going-to-full-time (if desired by applicant), on-site role for a Mid-level Provider at Gameday Men’s Health located in Roanoke, VA.
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in patient education and counseling.
This isn’t sick care. The focus is on wellness-lifestyle medicine and longevity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • * MUST be either a PA or NP. No exceptions. Please do not apply otherwise.*
  • We would love someone with hormonal health or urology experience but can train the right candidate!
  • Strong medical knowledge and clinical skills
  • Personal interest in wellness and lifestyle medicine is a plus
  • Ability to perform physical examinations and interpret medical tests
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Current valid state Physician Assistant license
  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent

Responsibilities
  • Evaluating patients for low testosterone and, under the supervision of a physician, prescribing testosterone therapy to optimize hormone levels.
  • Evaluating patients for erectile dysfunction and recommending treatment plans like Gainswave, P-Shot or prescribing medications like Trimix
  • Conducting consultations for new patients and interpreting lab results
  • Provide patient education - Specifically around lifestyle choices (nutrition, exercise, sleep, alcohol, and smoking)
  • Administering intramuscular, subcutaneous, and PRP injections
  • Working together with Medical Assistants, a Receptionist, and your Clinic Director
  • Maintaining clinic census goals
  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Providing continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans. This includes frequent phone calls/text messages to patients discussing care.
