Description
The Department of Neurologic Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to work as part of their multidisciplinary team, which consists of 14 NP/PAs and 21 surgeons. This challenging and dynamic position will have a primary focus on collaboratively managing the full spectrum of services provided to neurosurgical patients in the pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include the management of patients using protocol-driven treatment strategies, and providing care in the inpatient and outpatient settings within the full scope of practice. At this time this role does not include OR surgical assist. The incumbent will work closely with the physicians, chief residents, residents, NP/PAs and nursing staff of the Department of Neurologic Surgery. This position functions with a high level of autonomy. Compensation is calculated and based off of education and experience. The base range of this position would be $117,520.00 - $163,987.20. Benefit-eligible employees (50-100% FTE) receive up to 7 trip days (commensurate with time away from practice as approved off the schedule by a supervisor) and an annual allotment of $4,400 for Continued Medical Education (CME).
