We’re looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (ARNP, FNP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic healthcare team, serving patients across both a Functional Medicine Clinic and a Primary Care Clinic. This full-time position offers a rare and rewarding opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, addressing root causes through lifestyle and systems-based care, while maintaining excellence in traditional medical practice. You’ll work approximately 2–3 days per week at each clinic, collaborating with a team of practitioners who share a vision of whole-person wellness. What You’ll Do In the Functional Medicine Clinic: Conduct comprehensive evaluations that explore nutrition, lifestyle, genetics, and environmental influences. Order and interpret advanced diagnostic testing (e.g., hormone, gut, inflammation, and metabolic panels). Develop individualized treatment plans using nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle interventions. Educate and empower patients on long-term wellness strategies. Collaborate closely with health coaches and other integrative professionals. In the Primary Care Clinic: Provide routine and acute care visits, wellness exams, and chronic disease management. Diagnose and treat common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and lipid imbalances. Order and interpret labs and imaging and prescribe medications when indicated. Emphasize preventive care and health education. Maintain continuity of care across both clinic settings. Requirements What We’re Looking For Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program. Licensure: Active, unrestricted Iowa license and national certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA). Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience preferred. Functional Medicine: Training or certification preferred—but not required. If you’re not yet trained, a strong interest and willingness to learn Functional Medicine is highly valued and supported.
