Join the region’s premier orthopedic group in a unique Nurse Practitioner role focused on diagnostic care coordination and patient navigation. This is a non-clinic, office-based position ideal for a detail-oriented NP with strong communication, EMR proficiency, and a passion for ensuring seamless patient care experiences. Job Responsibility: Serve as a key liaison between patients, physicians, imaging teams, and clinical departments to ensure timely follow-up and coordination of diagnostic testing. Enter orders for imaging, lab work, and IV contrast in the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Provide virtual or phone-based patient education and support regarding results, next steps, or treatment plans. Travel occasionally to other locations to meet with physicians and site based ACPs. Support the clinical and administrative workflow for diagnostic care within the orthopedic service line. Job Qualifications: A New York State licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), board certified and credentialed. Experienced in EMR systems (preferably Epic or comparable platform). Skilled in multitasking and managing follow-ups with minimal supervision. Comfortable working independently in a non-clinical setting, but confident with periodic hands-on procedures.
