QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years RN experience in adult acute care with Hematology, Critical Care, Surgery or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of NP experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CDS and DEA certifications.
• Master s degree in Nursing
• Current New Jersey RN and NP license/registrations
• NJ Prescriptive privileges
• Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bilingual speaking preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational ability, teaching skills, communication and interpersonal skills

• Provides comprehensive care to all blood management and bloodless medicine/transfusion-free patients.
• Provide outpatient and inpatient acute care. Perform physical exams, perform screenings and assessments, collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and invasive therapeutic procedures, administer diagnostic and invasive therapeutic therapies when needed; order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications; and formulate a recommended comprehensive plan of care covering the entire episode of care that meets the needs of the patient.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team regarding discharge planning, plan of care, transfers and admissions.
• Participates in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Provides on-call coverage for bloodless medicine/transfusion-free.
• Provides a compassionate and supportive environment with prompt and consistent service.
• Adheres to patient rights: provides for the confidential treatment of all communications and records.
