Description Position Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Outpatient Clinic Location: Rural Health Clinic – Meade, Kansas Schedule: 4-day work week | Clinic open 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Day Off: Tuesdays Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides outpatient primary care services in a Rural Health Clinic setting under the direction and supervision of a Physician. This role delivers comprehensive patient care across the lifespan while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and clinic personnel to support high-quality, patient-centered care. Practice Details Outpatient primary care with walk-in patients Patient population: Cradle to Grave Average patient volume: 14–18 patients per day EMR: TruBridge Open to new graduates Key Responsibilities Provide medical care, treatment, and orders for clinic patients Supervise nursing activities and provide medical direction within the clinic Collaborate with physicians on clinic policies, services, and patient care Review patient records with the supervising Physician as required Provide consultation and medical supervision to healthcare staff Maintain clinic medical staff coverage Participate in staff meetings and assist with training new employees Maintain patient and system confidentiality Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, dress code, and mandatory education requirements Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, integrity, and respect toward patients and coworkers Qualifications Completion of required education and current licensure in the State of Kansas Licensed and credentialed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supervising Physician Strong communication and interpersonal skills
