If you’re passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives, you’ll feel right at home here.       Who we are looking for: The best leaders… who also happen to be licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP, ARNP, FNP, APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA-C)  What winning looks like:  * Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams * Travel to scheduled locations weekly to perform wound care. Locations may include clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and/or homes  * Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients  * Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess changes to patients’ health care needs  * Perform bedside wound care skills, including wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures  * Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in AWCG’s own wound care EMR  * Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and AWCG’s Clinical Practice Guidelines  * Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership, including board-certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease  Skills required for winning:  * Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Hawaii  * This fast-paced position requires standing for extended periods of time  * Driving! You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance  * 1-2 years of wound care, and/or surgical experience, and/or emergency medicine (highly preferred, but not required); training is available  * Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently  * Must be trustworthy, honest, and have a positive and professional attitude  * Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines  Compensation Range: Competitive Pay - DOE Anticipated Territory: Five clinic locations: Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Kahuku, Molokai, and Waimea (Big Island), plus multiple locations across Oahu, HI, and optional opportunity for outer island coverage This position is classified as: Salary, Exempt; Full-Time employment Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm HST, no nights, weekends, or call   Benefits: * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * 401(k) * Paid time off * Flexible schedule * Malpractice insurance  * Mileage Reimbursement * No nights, weekends, or on call *Do you want to grow personally and professionally by working with the best?
