We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to temporarily cover for a Family Physician for a period of 3 months. The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services to a diverse patient population, managing a variety of medical conditions, and ensuring continuity of care. The physician will be available for ongoing consultation and follow-up throughout the coverage period..

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in [Insert State/Region].
• Previous experience in family practice, primary care, or urgent care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a wide range of patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance from the Family Physician when necessary.

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform physical examinations and review patient history to develop personalized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Counsel patients on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle changes, and management of chronic conditions.
• Communicate effectively with the Family Physician to ensure patient care continuity, with regular follow-up consultations.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical records, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical best practices and clinical guidelines.
