Position Duties (not all inclusive): Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, observations, and medical history reviews Documents patient histories, symptoms, care plans, and updates records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) Develops, implements, and modifies patient care and treatment plans based on clinical findings Orders, administers, and interprets diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, X-rays, scans) Monitors, operates, and maintains medical equipment; ensures quality control and safety standards Identifies changes in patient condition and adjusts treatment plans as necessary Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Communicates diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans to patients and families with strong bedside manner Educates patients and families on disease management, prevention, and post-care instructions Refers patients to specialists and reviews medical records and reports as needed Utilizes medical software systems, including EHR, billing, scheduling, telemedicine, research, and e-prescribing platforms Ensures daily and weekly environmental cleaning, equipment maintenance, and compliance with healthcare protocols OUR COMMUNITY: Welcome to Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas and the official Texas. Required: State of Texas Board of Nursing Certification licensure as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse. ANCC or AANP. Required: BLS (CPR) Certified. Preferred: ACLS, PALS. Required: Must go through the credentialing process and be approved. Required: Prescriptive Authorization. Required: Works under the Collaborating Physician.
