Job Details Job Location: Pure Spokane - SPOKANE VALLEY, WA 99216 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: NP Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) has clinical oversite over the Pure Infusion clinics in their designated area. The Nurse Practitioner is the clinical expert and resource to the RN’s for providing guidance on medications, side effects and medical conditions. The position will conduct clinical audits at each clinic for which they have oversight, reviewing patient charts and the overall patient care at the clinic. Perform patient assessments as needed. Utilize clinical expertise to make final determinations on patient treatments. Evaluate bloodwork that may require further work up. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical reviews Work with providers to clarify orders as needed Responsible for reviewing orders for missing elements and ensuring order are updated. Oversees patient care at up to five sites and conducts periodic inspections at each site. May be responsible for staff scheduling at each site to ensure appropriate coverage based on workload. Write orders for labs as needed. Delegate role appropriate tasks to other medical team members as necessary for patient care Collect specimens, refer to laboratory, and assess medical results Administer topical, oral, intravenous, or intramuscular medications Communicate pertinent medical records to appropriate specialists as needed Report diseases, births, and deaths in accordance with government rules Ensure clinical practice is in accordance with Pure Healthcare’s Policies and Procedures Maintain excellent patient safety and satisfaction scores Always maintain a professional environment Always maintain a clean and organized clinic Provide compassionate healthcare to patients Establish and maintain strong community relationships with Home Health organizations, Independent Living Facilities and Senior Living Communities Conduct outreach with other providers/specialists as directed Promote community education Performs the all duties of the Infusion RN position. Required Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Valid nurse practitioner license Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements. NP certification through either AANP or ANCC Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state for which the position exists, must be in good standing. Active RN license in the state for which the position exists, must be in good standing. Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software applications (EMR, MS Office Suite, Etc.) Warm and welcoming bedside manner Exceptional teamwork skills Always maintains professional appearance and demeanor BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements Qualifications
