QUALIFICATIONS:

• Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• A PhD (preferred), or Masters in a relevant nursing health field.
• Current Working with Vulnerable People registration (or to be obtained).
• Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence or manual vehicle licence.

• Make an effective and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities.
• Provide leadership within the School of Nursing in developing and delivering a high-quality Nurse Practitioner Masters level curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality scholarly teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.
• Undertake high-quality research of national and increasingly international standing, secure external competitive and other funding, publish research findings and contribute to the successful supervision of research higher degree students to meet and regularly exceed the University’s research performance expectations for Level C Balanced (PhD applicant) or Teaching Intensive (Masters applicant) depending on qualifications
