NURSE PRACTITIONER Spark is seeking clinically strong, driven, and business minded Nurse Practitioners for providing services across Nova Scotia. Our clients are lovely individuals seeking nurse practitioner support in the form of in-home assessments and follow-ups. After experiences such as acute illness/injury, trauma, complex medical diagnoses, or surgeries, clients are looking for support to help guide their recovery. This may include physical exams, provision of diagnoses, and requisitions for diagnostics as appropriate in an environment in which they may not be readily able to access these supports outside of the hospital setting. You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are passionate about helping people, are reliable, love working in a team, are registered as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, and have experience working with individuals in the community. We are excited to work with you because: You have experience working in a community-based setting. You have experience in advising patients and their families on health care needs including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention. You are an advocate for client-centered care. You can collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team such as therapists, caregivers, case managers to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Hours: Part-Time: Flexible scheduling options are available Rate of Pay: 70% of the billable rate Requirements: Nurse Practitioner (NP) registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing Valid BLS/CPR Level C certification Smartphone with a data plan Proof of Professional Liability Insurance Assets: Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle Why Join Spark Lifecare?
