About the Department St Vincent’s Emergency Department is a challenging, dynamic environment with a diverse range of patient presentations. The department includes 2 resuscitation bays, behaviour assessment room, 16 acute cubicles, Fast Track Clinic and a short stay unit. The Emergency Department consists of 47 treatment spaces including Resuscitation, Acute Cubicles, Fast Track, Short Stay, and a Crisis Resource Hub focusing on mental health & drug and alcohol presentations. The Emergency Department is a tertiary referral centre for Neurosurgery, Stroke, Cardiothoracic, Plastics & lower limb injuries. About the Role A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse who has acquired the expert knowledge base, complex decision making skills and clinical competencies to prepare for expanded practice. The classification for this position will range between a NO1-NO2 ($143,208 - $145,927.60 base salary per annum, pro rata).
