Part-Time Nurse Practitioner – Thrive Sports & Spine Associates
Location: Somers Point, NJ
Join our growing integrated sports & wellness team!
Thrive Sports & Spine Associates is an innovative sports chiropractic office dedicated to helping patients move, recover, and thrive. We are expanding our services to include IV nutrition, peptide therapy, family medicine, and joint injections. Soon, we’ll also be introducing acupuncture and physical therapy to provide a full spectrum of care.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and collaborative Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for wellness, enjoys working in a team environment, and is eager to grow with a progressive, patient-centered practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide patient care in IV nutritional therapy, peptides, and regenerative medicine.
- Perform joint injections and primary/family medicine visits as needed.
- Collaborate with our chiropractic and rehabilitation team to support integrative patient care.
- Help shape and implement new services as our practice expands.
- Build lasting relationships with patients through compassionate, personalized care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in NJ.
- Experience or strong interest in integrative/functional medicine, IV therapy, and joint injections.
- Friendly, approachable, and motivated personality.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Availability for part-time hours (with potential to expand as our services grow).

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the NJ.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or specialty areas such as orthopedic and spine.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and workers’ compensation law.
• Proficiency in performing procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, airway management, and spinal taps.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and experience working with diverse populations including athletes, kids/adolescents, and seniors.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
