TLC Kitchener is looking to hire a qualified Nurse Practitioner to work casual full-time/part-time hours in Windsor region, Ontario.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Monitor, assess, diagnose and prescribe treatments to patients
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment plan options with patients and other healthcare staff
• Liaise with physicians and other internal and external members of the health care team to ensure resident care needs are met;
• Advocate for, and facilitate, the principles of self-care by ensuring involvement of patients in their own care plan.
• Liaise with physicians and other internal and external members of the health care team to ensure resident care needs are met;
• Respond to emergency situations and assess patients to identify appropriate interventions
• Practice in accordance with College of Nurses of Ontario Practice Standards and Ministry of Health regulations.
• Practice in accordance with the rules and security requirements of the facility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in the Extended Class (EC)
• 1-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 12 months
• TB test within the last 12 months
• Proof of covid-19 vaccination
• Must be familiar with online charting (eg. MEDITECH, e-MAR, Point-Click-Care)
• Ability to work solely or as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

  Pay: From $75.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
