Description PT Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Primary Care The Kidz Docs, a well-established pediatric practice in Northern Virginia, is looking for a part-time (3d/wk) nurse practitioner or PA to join our group of 6 doctors and one nurse practitioner. A pediatric nurse practitioner, or a nurse practitioner or PA with pediatric experience, is preferred. Paid vacation, CME, and benefits offered. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine wellness exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Educate families on child development, nutrition, and disease prevention. Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Pediatrics. Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric experience. Active state RN and APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
