Roles & Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform blood sample collection/venipuncture safely and efficiently during home visits.
• Perform IV cannulation confidently and independently.
• Collect blood from patients with difficult veins, including elderly and pediatric patients.
• Ensure correct patient identification, sample labeling, handling, storage, and preparation for transportation.
• Provide professional nursing care during home healthcare visits.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection control, clinical safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Ensure all required nursing supplies and equipment are prepared before visits.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, laboratories, and the operations team.
• Travel to patient locations across Dubai as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified Registered Nurse (RN).
• Excellent blood collection / venipuncture skills are mandatory.
• Excellent IV cannulation skills are mandatory.
• Strong experience with difficult veins is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in home healthcare, phlebotomy, laboratory sample collection, or IV therapy is preferred.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Professional, reliable, punctual, and well presented.
• Able to work independently in a home healthcare environment.
• UAE healthcare experience is preferred.

Important: Blood collection and IV cannulation are core requirements for this position. Candidates who are not highly confident and experienced in both procedures should not apply.
