Job Summary: A Nurse Tech 2 is a non-licensed health care provider, responsible for assisting in the direct and indirect care of patients under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. The NT-2 learns the role of the RN by assisting and observing the RN. The NT-2 is an integral part of the Nursing care team and assists with hourly rounding, responding to patient and family requests and meeting the needs of customers to promote a positive patient experience. Education: Required: Will consider a nursing student (RN or LPN) within 6 months of graduating from an accredited nursing program. Preferred: Experience: Required: NA Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Tech work experience Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained going forward. Responsibilities

The Nurse Tech 2 assists registered nurses with direct and indirect patient care, including hourly rounding and responding to patient requests. They support the nursing team to ensure a positive patient experience while learning the role of an RN.
