We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.   About the role   Angliss Hospital Medical Imaging is a friendly, patient-focused department providing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services in Melbourne's outer east. As a member of the Eastern Health Medical Imaging senior leadership team, you will work collaboratively with Eastern Health Medical Imaging management across Eastern Health, operating Monday to Friday on a rotating roster. Our dynamic department includes Interventional CT, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, General Xray and recovery bay. The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible to lead the nursing team of the department providing clinical leadership and expertise, and with a commitment to quality improvement, ensuring an efficient and safe delivery of Medical Imaging services. The NM works collaboratively with other Eastern Health Medical Imaging NMs.   About you    To be successful in this role you will possess:   Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse Medical Imaging experience would be looked upon favourably  Post Graduate qualification in relevant nursing field or leadership A strong commitment to high quality care Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience in managing teams Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing focused care Active engagement in continued professional and career development   Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment. Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year.
