The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is responsible for the operational, clinical, and professional leadership of a 32-bed Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and GEM inpatient unit. The NUM provides effective leadership to nursing, allied health assistant, and support staff to ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to older adults and rehabilitation patients. The role is accountable for achieving excellence in clinical outcomes, workforce management, patient flow, quality improvement, accreditation compliance, financial stewardship, and staff engagement within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment. Our world class Cancer Centre uses a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach to treat specific cancers. The Cancer Centre offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, specialist nurses, clinical trials and cancer research, palliative care, and a Cancer Wellness Program. The Mental Health Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment covering the Loddon Mallee region.
