ABOUT THE ROLE:
Western Health is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering excellence in patient care, innovation, and community service. The Division of Aged, General Medicine and Subacute Services (AGMS) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse ready to step into a dynamic leadership role.
Our GC Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit is a specialised 30 bed ward that plays a vital role in providing high-quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment to optimise the functioning and independence of older people after an acute hospital stay. Located within GC GEM is a 6 bed Dementia Management Unit that aims to provide a specialist treatment program for older people living with the behaviours and psychological symptoms of Dementia.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced nurse with a passion and strong commitment for caring for older people to lead our team. This is a rare leadership opportunity to inspire and manage a dedicated group of healthcare professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.
