Spectrum Health Care is hiring full-time and part-time Wound Care Nurses (Registered Nurses) to support patients in Mississauga and surrounding areas. Job Description You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the community. You have clinical skills and extensive knowledge of wound, ostomy and continence care management for a wide range of patients with chronic diseases. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence concerns. Provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care and work collaboratively with other members of our team Ensure that nursing care provided to our patients is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes Continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of our patients Travel between patients’ homes within a specific geographical region Qualifications Must have completed NSWOC or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Minimum of two-year nursing experience (Community Nursing experience is ideal, but not required) Ability to work independently in managing your own caseload Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (if you can speak additional languages, terrific) Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle with willingness to travel Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn software Additional Information Spectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
