Our friendly and welcoming Nursery is looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant, who will support children, families and staff in our busy office. This job is varied and you will need good time management skills, as you will be required to multi-task to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.  Confidentiality is paramount. Duties will include * Providing a friendly point of contact for all members of our nursery community * Answering general enquires on the phone, in person and by email * Using IT to support the office needs, including Arbor, and Tucasi * Dealing with finances and Government funding of nursery places * General administrative duties as directed by the Nursery manager  The ideal candidate will  * Have strength in their communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with a wide range of people both in person, on the telephone and by email * Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills in order to complete all the office tasks with Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) * Be confident in using technology in the workplace, willing and able to learn how to use a variety of IT packages * Be confidential, positive and professional * Be honest, reliable, well organised and a good timekeeper * Be child centred Please forward completed CES application forms to head@st-pauls.portsmouth.sch.uk Please note that we do not promote the use of AI for applications.  We are unable to accept CVs for this position Interested in this role, but not enough hours?
