We are looking to welcome an administrator to join our highly qualified, friendly team. Previous experience in a nursery setting is desirable.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to progress into management. You will be working alongside the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager as part of the Senior Management Team developing the Nursery as a whole. The role requires someone who has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organisational and administrative skills.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Office software literacy (eg Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent financial literacy, to include assisting parents with funding, vouchers, and forecasting future childcare costs
  • Human resources experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work

Responsibilities
  • Use of our nursery management system to include booking children/extra sessions/holidays etc
  • Administration of the government Nursery Grant Funding claims
  • Parent invoicing and account management
  • Childcare vouchers; processing, reconciliation and dealing with parent enquiries
  • Website and Facebook updates
  • Contacting existing parents who have payments due on their accounts by phone, email, and face to face
  • Meet/greet new parents and visitors to the nursery
  • New and ongoing parent correspondence and administration
  • General office activities and nursery administration to include issuing contracts and booking training courses for staff.
  • Organise office operations and procedures
