Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive Nursery Administrator to support the smooth running of our nurseries. As the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, you’ll ensure all administrative and finance-related tasks are carried out efficiently and professionally.
The role requires strong organisational and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail, as you will be responsible for managing multiple priorities including parent enquiries, financial reporting, payroll support, and record-keeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and other enquiries promptly and helpfully; share updates and announcements with parents.
  • Support the registration process by collating and maintaining all required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s information and attendance.
  • Manage nursery software systems for invoicing, bookings, and child profiles.
  • Issue invoices and receipts to parents, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Support with recruitment paperwork, staff files, and DBS checks.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with timesheets and payroll data.
  • Prepare and maintain financial data to support the Finance Manager in producing reports.
  • Provide administrative support for monitoring expenses and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist with the coordination of maintenance, repairs, and central purchases.
