Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

As Nursery Administrator, you’ll be a key part of the operations team based primarily at our SE1 head office, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. However, you’ll also be present on nursery sites when conducting tours and supporting key activities.
This role blends administrative efficiency with warm, people-first communication — ensuring families feel supported and our team runs smoothly behind the scenes.
As a key part of our admin team, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations behind the scenes while being a warm and professional first point of contact for families. You’ll be supporting everything from recruitment to occupancy reporting—making a real impact on how our nursery runs each day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Phone & Email Communications:Manage our virtual landline and respond to enquiries via phone and email throughout the day.
  • Daily Admin & System Updates:Maintain and regularly update Famly, DocuSign, spreadsheets, and waiting lists. Stay on top of pending voicemails, tour follow-ups, and new enquiries.
  • Tour & Enquiry Management:Coordinate private nursery tours, follow up on enquiry calls and voicemails.
  • Recruitment Support:Assist with recruitment processes, from screening candidates to coordinating interviews.
  • Training & Paperwork:Help with training coordination and ensure all relevant paperwork is up-to-date and well-organised.
  • Availability Optimisation:Actively monitor and optimise nursery availability—help us fill quieter days and manage capacity effectively.
